Ainda inspirado pelas postagens sobre o branco no cinema e na Dança, aqui um momento cinematográfico que une os dois: Astaire acompanhado de uma partner que ele chamava de "Beautiful Dynamite", a maravilhosa Cyd Charisse, no seu elemento básico. Luar, um cenário simples, nenhum efeito especial, uma linda melodia (Dancing in the dark, de Dietz & Schwartz), longuíssimos Takes (Fred nao gostava que suas dancas fossem cortadas para serem depois editadas... insistia nestes longuíssimos Takes para o desespero dos diretores!) e uma perfeita coreografia. "A Roda da Fortuna" (The Band Wagon, MGM 1953) de Vincente Minelli. Mais uma jóia dos anos de ouro da MGM, porém muito esquecida nestes últimos anos... Mais uma vez: Romance at its very best!
